Come Out & Help Support the Menlo Park Veterans Home MSA/HSP Program

Twice a year the brothers from South River invite two bus loads of Veterans from Menlo Park to attend our now Famous Rib Fest and at each event a $1,000.00 check is presented to the Menlo Park MSA/HSP program. Approximately thirty veterans and their support staff attend and are shown an incredible time by the usual 300 or so attendees.

Please consider spending an great afternoon in South River supporting and getting to know these brave veterans while enjoying all you can eat Spare Ribs, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, delicious sides and being entertained by our DJ in our outside picnic area. At the Rib Fest last Fall we cooked over 750 lbs of ribs.

Cost $20.00 for Adults, $5.00 for children under 12, and free for children under 4.

A mere $5.00 more entitles you to all the beer and wine you can drink (within the guidelines of our TIPS Program of course.)

2012 Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey

Hello,

It’s once again that time of year the less intelligent sacrifice their warmth for the less fortunate. Yes I am again braving the icy waters of the Atlantic in an attempt to help raise money for the Special Olympics New Jersey. You can help by either donating a small amount or joining me and team Hiram on Ice in our perilous plunge. The choice is yours. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated and there is no such thing as a small donation. I would like to thank everyone for their support in the past and hope we can continue together to help out this worth while cause.

Thank you,
Alex
